Awaken Privacy Policy
Effective 4 November 2026
Awaken is a habit app that runs entirely on your iPhone. It has no account, no servers, no analytics and no advertising. We do not collect, store or share any of your data.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your progress: your name, level, quests, streak, XP and history are saved in the app's own storage on your iPhone.
- Locked apps: the apps you choose to lock are stored as private tokens issued by Apple's Screen Time system. Awaken cannot see which apps they are, and the tokens never leave your iPhone.
- Camera: rep counting uses your front camera with on-device body tracking. Video is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
- Page photos: if you choose to photograph a book page for the Reading quest, that photo is saved only on your iPhone, with its location data removed.
- Motion: the focus timer uses motion sensors only to know whether your phone is face down. Nothing is recorded.
What leaves your iPhone
Nothing, unless you choose to share. If you tap Share after clearing a day, you can send an image showing your XP and streak. It does not include your name. You decide where it goes.
Like other app data, Awaken's data is included in your own iCloud or computer backups of your iPhone if you have backups turned on. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple, not by us.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. They are not sent from a server.
Deleting your data
Use Settings → Reset all progress in the app, or delete the app. Either removes everything Awaken stored.
Children
Awaken is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
